Financial Controller, Farnborough, £75-85k DOE

Join a growing International SME as Financial Controller. Reporting to the MD, you’ll lead the Finance Department, supporting 4 operating businesses and several holding companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure integrity of financial systems and reporting.
  • Provide senior management with accurate financial information.
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling.
  • Monitor spending and create budgets.
  • Oversee payroll and pension compliance.
  • Reduce costs and increase profits.
  • Manage hedging and currency requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international financial regulations.
  • Manage Corporation, VAT, PAYE, and P11D taxes.
  • Liaise with external tax accountants and auditors.
  • Contribute to day-to-day management and train finance team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
  • Significant corporate financial management experience.
  • Knowledge of national and international finance best practices.
  • Understanding of financial legislation and tax processes (UK, USA, Europe).
  • Strong analytical skills and budgeting expertise.
  • Experience leading financial teams.
  • Proficiency with financial software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
