Robert Walters are currently working in exclusive partnership with an award winning organisation based on the outskirts of Farnborough, to recruit for a Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis.

This Financial Controller position is a newly created position due to growth and will support an excellent Finance Director in running a fast paced Finance team as the business looks to continue on an incredibly exciting growth trajectory.

As the Financial Controller, you will have incredible attention to detail, with an eye for process improvement as well as implementation. You will prepare and produce monthly management accounts as well as produce reports for board packs and monthly variance analysis for the balance sheet and P&L.

Other responsibilities of this Financial Controller role include:

  • Monthly production of internal VAT & CIS return
  • Oversee accounts payable function
  • Provide senior management team with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective decision making and financial strategy
  • Liaise with external Tax accountants
  • Support development and ongoing maintenance of forecasting model
  • Assist with accurate cashflow forecasting
  • Become involved in a variety of ad-hoc work within Finance and leading on projects

We would love to speak to candidates with the following background for this Financial Controller role:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA Qualified Accountants with 1 - 3 years PQE
  • Strong technical Finance knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to business partner with both internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Team management experience (either in Audit or out of Audit advantageous but not essential)
