This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified (ACA or ACCA) Financial Accountant or Finance Business Partner to work closely with a PE backed organisation and support them through acquisitions and ultimately the sale of the businesses.

Working closely with the Company Directors and the Private Equity team, you will be the number one in Finance (role akin to Finance Director) and will:

  • Offer strategic support to the Board
  • Be responsible for BAU accounting
  • Complete and file all statutory and tax returns of the business
  • Liaise with the Private Equity team
  • Liaise with the external accountants
  • Manage finance staff
  • Assist Directors with ad hoc business requirements and reporting

In be successful in the role of Financial Controller/Head of Financial Reporting you are likely to be able to offer:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification gained in a UK based Accountancy Firm
  • Exposure to business change through Corporate Finance, Insolvency or Restructuring work
  • Experience in Financial Reporting for an SME commercial business
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prepare meaningful reports
  • The ambition to support the positive business changes of this organisation
