Investigo are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing division of a larger construction business based in Surrey. My client is looking for a highly motivated individual with great attention to detail to take up the newly created role of Financial Controller. The role will be fast paced and offer the potential to progress through to Head of Finance or Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and timely production of monthly management accounts.
  • Take responsibility for a variety of balance sheet / P&L areas.
  • Monthly production of internal VAT & CIS return.
  • Oversee accounts payment function and assist with subcontractor payment applications.
  • Providing senior management team with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective decision making and financial strategy's.
  • Support preparation of board papers and management packs.
  • Support development and ongoing maintenance of forecasting model.
  • Assist with accurate cashflow forecasting.
  • Become involved in a variety of ad-hoc work.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong Technical ability
  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  • Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders
