Part-time Financial Controller wanted in or around Farnborough (within a 45 minute radius from the location preferred)

About the role:

The role is to work with our client in their promotions business. The basics in the finance function are covered but there is a need for an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to work with the CFOC in the finance function and help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.

About You:

You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a business that buys and sells product, as well as strong experience with invoice discounting/factoring.

Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 4 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:

  • management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations

  • cashflow forecasting, including modelling invoice discounting

  • experience in using Sage 200 preferably, but at least Sage50 experience

  • Management and reconciliations of invoice discounting/factoring

  • experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs

  • proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders

  • you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years)

  • Required experience: Invoice discounting

  • Required industry experience: Product sales/stock management/margin analysis/stock system

As this role is two days a week (self employed basis) it could work alongside other client work

Rate of pay: £40 per hour

Location: Farnborough - Onsite 4 days p/week
