The Graduate Accounts Trainee Role:The position will allow you to develop your accounting skills whilst playing a vital role in our Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping Departments. You will be fully sponsored through studies at college (Reading) for the ACA studies and exams and you will be mentored throughout your training, helping you to achieve your full potential.Key tasks will include:

Bookkeeping – using various software such as Xero and Sage 50
VAT returns – preparation and submission to HMRC
Accounts preparation for sole traders and limited companies
Involvement in statutory and voluntary audits of limited companies and other entities
Dealing with client queries
You will develop your skills by gaining practical experience and through studying the many aspects of accountancy.

We’re looking for a Graduate Accounts Trainee with:

A recent, relevant degree
Good G.C.S.E. and ideally A Level results and degree education if looking to pursue the ACA position
Good mathematical ability
Accurate and keen eye for detail
Good communication skills
Strong IT skills
Good time management and the ability to balance work alongside college studies
Able to work in an office-based role in Camberley, and attend college course in Reading
