Our client based in Camberley is looking for a Management Accountant to assist them for 6 months on a full-time basis. The role will be completely on site where there is a free car park. The ideal candidate must be able to drive.
Management Accountant - About The Role
You will assist the Financial Controller in achieving a swift and precise monthly closing process, encompassing a range of both straightforward and intricate tasks such as:
- Posting, analysing, and managing accruals/prepayments for General Ledger (GL) accounts
- Reconciling month-end GL data with billing records and uploading them to Sage
- Conducting commercial analyses, including assessments of customer and product profitability along with providing explanatory narratives
- Monitoring performance against budget and forecast, adjusting forecasts as necessary
- Monitoring customer performance and ensuring billing accuracy via our billing platform
- Supporting the integration of new businesses into the company's financial systems
- Collaborating with commercial teams (sales and operations) to enhance comprehension of customers and products
- Identifying potential areas for operational efficiencies or enhancements throughout the organisation and taking a leadership or participatory role in teams dedicated to implementing those enhancements
The successful Management Accountant will have/be:
- Experience in a similar position
- Immediately available or on 1 week’s notice
- Must be able to drive due to location
