- Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights into key variances.
- Collaborate with operational teams to understand cost drivers and provide recommendations for cost control.
- Conduct financial analyses, including variance analysis for partnering with cost centre managers across the business.
- Assist in the implementation of projects and/or lead on departmental projects which have been identified by you or the business.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with the relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks and HMRC.
- Take full responsibility for compliance submissions to HMRC, Companies House and ONS.
- QBE, Part Qualified, or studying would all be considered.
- Proficiency with Excel and/or other reporting tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial standards.
- Experience with systems upgrades/implementations would be a bonus.
