A bespoke software development business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for their Farnborough office, offering a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 per year.
The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and involves producing Management Accounts, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
The candidate will assist in transitioning from Sage and Xero to a new system, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and managing external stakeholder relationships.

A bespoke software development business with offices in Farnborough and Europe is looking for an experienced Management Accountant. The role will be responsible for producing the Management Accounts including journal posting and revenue reconciliations and taking full responsibility for balance sheet control. Key aspects of the role include Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Project Implementation.The business is currently using Sage and Xero, and this role will assist in transitioning to a new system.This is a flexible business that aims to create an environment where people feel they can do their best work. A permanent full-time position with hybrid working is offered, 1-2 days a week in the Farnborough office.The Management Accountant will:

Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets.
Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights into key variances.
Collaborate with operational teams to understand cost drivers and provide recommendations for cost control.
Conduct financial analyses, including variance analysis for partnering with cost centre managers across the business.
Assist in the implementation of projects and/or lead on departmental projects which have been identified by you or the business.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Assist with the relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks and HMRC.
Take full responsibility for compliance submissions to HMRC, Companies House and ONS.

Skills and attributes required for this role:

QBE, Part Qualified, or studying would all be considered.
Proficiency with Excel and/or other reporting tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial standards.
Experience with systems upgrades/implementations would be a bonus.
