Management Accountant - Immediate start, Camberley, £40-45k - Contract to Permanent

We’re working with a growing hi-tech business to recruit a Management Accountant. This varied and challenging role will suit someone with good all-round management accounting experience, maybe studying for a professional qualification and looking for their next career move. In this job you will play a key role in the preparation of monthly accounts as well as supporting day to day finance operations. Candidates will need to be available at short notice to be considered for this role.

Duties will include:

  • Reporting to the FC, working in a friendly and supportive finance team.
  • Using Sage 200, Xero and strong Excel.
  • Supporting the FC with a fast and accurate month end close.
  • General ledger account posting and analysis.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Prepare weekly sales updates and performance reports.
  • Tracking performance v budget and forecast.
  • Commercial analysis of customers and product profitability, producing commentary.
  • Reconcile balance sheet control accounts.
  • Ensuring billing system integration and accuracy.
  • Work with commercial sales and ops teams to fully understand the customers and products.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and develop processes and procedures.

About you:

Previous experience in a similar role with experience in the preparation of management accounts.

Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidates will be considered.

Strong attention to detail and a desire to add value and develop internal processes.

Hands-on team player.

Confident communicator able to liaise at all levels.
