Role Overview:

As a Part-Qualified Practice Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with the team, assisting in managing client accounts, preparing financial statements, and providing tax and advisory support. You will also have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, allowing you to develop both your technical and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements for clients across a range of industries.
  • Assisting with tax returns and providing general tax advice.
  • Supporting senior colleagues with managing client relationships.
  • Reviewing and maintaining client records.
  • Contributing to the smooth running of client projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior staff.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • You’ll be part-qualified (ACA/ACCA) or working towards your qualification, with practical experience in a practice environment.
  • A strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) would be advantageous.
