Service Charge Accountant Camberley £40K per annum

My client is seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join their team in Frimley. You will be responsible for maintaining the accounts throughout the year and preparing the end of year accounts. You will be ensuring procedures are followed within the finance Team whilst working closely with the stakeholders. You will:

  • Draft full year end accounts, including review and calculation of accruals, prepayments, creditor and debtor reviews
  • Ensure accurate and timely accounts are delivered
  • Liaise with the wider teams to ensure accounts are complete and accurate
  • Work with auditors to answer all queries in a thorough manner to deadline
  • Calculate and complete any surplus/deficit billing
  • Build effective working partnerships to ensure accounts are accurate and complete at key benchmarks in the year
  • Be the key contact for any financial related queries
  • Liaise with operational team to ensure budget trackers are produced and kept up to date
  • Deliver department productivity metrics and contribute to the team and organisational goals
  • Complete regular Bank Reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
  • Complete in year financial reporting and regular inter-company reconciliations
  • Raise billing and completion of payments
  • Support the intercompany billing as required, including Management Fees and other recharges
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to improve the Association’s financial performance and achieve its objectives
  • Proactively update stakeholders should any issues arise

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an effective communicator both verbally and written
  • Have strong IT Literacy, particularly Microsoft Office packages

Ideally be Part qualified/ Qualified CIMA/ ACCA preferred

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
