My Client specialises in Satellite Communication systems and are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team!
Main Duties:
- Accounts Payable - Process invoices, match with delivery notes, handle supplier queries, and reconcile statements.
- Expenses - Review employee expenses, ensure policy compliance, obtain approvals, and input into the system.
- Bank & Credit Transactions - Post and reconcile bank transactions and credit card expenses.
- Supplier & Procurement - Set up new suppliers, draft purchase orders, place orders, and resolve queries.
- Budget & Miscellaneous - Maintain budget tracker and handle ad hoc duties.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Priority, NetSuite preferred).
- Experience in an accounts team with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Studying towards an accounting qualification (e.g., AAT) is an advantage.
The salary for this position will be circa £25-30k (pro-rata), depending on experience.
