Assistant Accountant, Camberley, £28000 - £33000 + Hybrid + Great Benefits

Working at the UK headquarters of this large International business, this fantastic and varied Assistant Accountant type role has been created as a result of significant market growth and year on year growth. It represents a great opportunity for a bright self-starter looking to learn, develop and add real value over the next few years. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, duties will include:

  • Accounts payable and Accounts receivable processing.
  • Monitoring Receivables (Overdue customers etc).
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing financial information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering information into the company in-house and ERP systems.
  • Administration of staff travel expenses, data and payroll information.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Timely delivery of all tax reports in cooperation with the Tax Consultant.
  • Correspondence with authorities, customers and suppliers, consultants and banks.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports as directed.
  • Taking care of the statutory audit in cooperation with local consultants.
  • Communicating and collaborating with Accounting team members (and other staff) at all levels both in the UK and overseas.
  • Other ad hoc accounting duties as requested.

This role which will provide full training in the job duties and the IT / ERP systems used (Excel and Office experience are a must of course), will suit an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant with 2 or 3 of years of relevant accounting work experience, and probably studying for and ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification looking for an extremely varied and challenging new position with a large International business. Strong time management, analytical and communication skills as well as a proactive, can-do, problem-solving attitude will all help to ensure success in this cracking new role.
