We are currently working on behalf of our trusted client who are looking for a Service Manager. Join a leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions, IOT and professional services with a large presence in the UK construction sector. What You Can Expect

Main Responsibilities as a Service Manager

  • Service Integration: Develop and execute strategies to integrate IT services across internal teams and external providers for seamless service delivery.
  • Service Management: Oversee service delivery, service desk, and customer operations teams to ensure IT services meet agreed standards and SLAs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for IT service-related interactions, leading monthly service review meetings to discuss performance, improvements, and feedback.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive service enhancements by leveraging customer feedback, performance analysis, and industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers to align IT services with business needs.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain and oversee relationships with external service providers to ensure compliance with contractual and service-level agreements.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to service integration and delivery.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Professional Certifications in ITIL v3 or ideally v4
  • Project management certification (Prince2, Agile) - nice to have but not essential
  • SIAM certifications - nice to have but not essential
  • 4 + years of experience as a Service Manager
  • Worked on wireless projects in the construction industry - nice to have but not essential.
