Our client is seeking an Inbound Sales Administrator to maximise inbound sales by successfully onboarding and developing relationships with customers. This role requires a strong focus on providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs while delivering exceptional customer service.

Sales Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage after-sales queries and issues.
  • Collaborate with transport teams to ensure successful delivery and collection.
  • Effectively manage complaints and concerns to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate at every opportunity.
  • Onboard new customers and nurture relationships with existing customers.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to all customer enquiries.
  • Aim for first-time resolution with appropriate solutions.
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to generate opportunities and resolve concerns.
  • Manage key accounts with regular scheduled contact.
  • Identify opportunities, develop relationships, and understand customer needs.
  • Raise quotations, ensuring minimal discounts within set guidelines.
  • Convert opportunities into quotes and regularly review outstanding pipelines.
  • Manage the order process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Set up customers correctly to ensure on-time payment.
  • Chase overdue accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
  • Prevent duplicate account creation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the core product range.
  • Participate in sales training sessions, both in-person and online.
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to manage stock and orders.
  • Address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Adhere to departmental processes, including the use of templates and Smartflow.
  • Meet departmental KPIs and maintain service levels within set guidelines.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard bottom-line profitability in all actions.
  • Support and train new team members.
  • Engage with customers and suppliers via phone, email, and webchat.
  • Maintain direct communication with suppliers and transport companies.

Sales Administrator Experience and Skills Requirements
