CNC Grinder

Position: CNC Grinder (machinist) / Grinder OperatorSalary: £28,000 to £37,000 - depending on experience, plus overtime paid at x1.5 and benefitsHours: Monday to Thursday 7am till 4:00pm and Friday 6am till 1pmLocation: Commutable from Camberley, Bracknell, Farnborough, Farnham, Guildford, Aldershot and surrounding areas CompanyAn established, modern and growing manufacturing company who precision machined parts and solutions to various industries, including Aerospace and Defence, are on the look out for a Grinder Operator whose looking for a career move. If you have the desire to learn, develop your skills, work hard, be appreciated and rewarded, this opportunity cannot be missed.ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for selecting and mounting the cutting tools required for CNC and conventional grinding operations, positioning workpieces on the machine and performing the required grinding operations.· Preparing the machine for grinding operations (setting);· Grinding, deburring and polishing workpieces to bring them to the desired shape and dimensions, in accordance with the design specifications;· Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from the grinding machine;· Able to use measuring equipment to check finished pieces (quality control);· Reporting any machining or fabrication defects or imperfections;· Carrying out maintenance of grinding machine and cutting tools;· Keeping work area clean and orderly;· Support colleagues by assisting with other duties when required, to aid the smooth running of the Company;· Work in accordance to the quality system and processes of the company;· Be punctual at all times;· Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required.Requirements· Experience of operating grinding CNC machines· Willingness and drive to learn and grow· Career driven· Good communicator with the hunger and drive· Strong team player - This company promote teamwork and it is imperative part of the role.If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
