Using manual and semi-automatic lathes and milling machines, you will ensure efficient, accurate, and safe machining to meet production requirements.Manual Machinists Duties: 
  • Precision Machining– Operate manual and semi-automatic lathes and milling machines (Prototrak/XYZ) to manufacture components to exact specifications.
  • Engineering Drawings– Interpret technical and engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts.
  • Measuring & Inspection– Utilize measuring instruments and gauges to ensure components meet strict tolerances and quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement– Contribute ideas to enhance production efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Health & Safety Compliance– Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control– Conduct intermediate inspections to verify accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Professionalism– Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties– Undertake any other relevant tasks as required by the company.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a machining environment.
  • Proficiency in operating manual and semi-automatic lathes and mills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong mathematical and measuring skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances.
