Credit Controller

Credit Controller, Farnborough, £28-34k + Bens (DOE)

We're looking for a dedicated Credit Controller to join our client’s finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is proficient in managing multiple accounts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the financial health of our organisation by ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining good relationships with clients.

Day-to-day duties in this role:

• Manage and collect outstanding accounts receivable from clients, ensuring accurate and timely payment of debts.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, or personally to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and client disputes as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on collection activity and account status.
• Work closely with the finance team to implement processes and policies that contribute to accurate invoicing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Credit Control or B2B Collections role.
• A thorough understanding of billing and financial processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
