Holden Knight Education are working with a primary school in the Farnborough area who are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic teacher to join their team immediately.

This role involves supporting the Nursery class now and transitioning to teach Year 2 from January 2025 for one term. With most of the planning already completed, this is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher to focus on delivering engaging lessons and fostering a supportive learning environment without the need for extensive preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Nursery (Immediate Start): Support the Nursery classroom, engaging young learners and nurturing their social and developmental growth.
  • Year 2 (From January 2025): Teach Year 2 for one term, using pre-prepared lesson plans to guide instruction and deliver curriculum content effectively.
  • Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that caters to the developmental needs of both Nursery and Year 2 students.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to maintain high-quality early years and primary education.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using provided resources and adapting instruction as needed to meet diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) with experience in early years or KS1.
  • Experience working with Nursery and KS1 students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing, adaptable approach.
