Are you an electronics engineer who wants a role which is varied and challenging, so no two days will be the same? This is brand new role for you to get your teeth into. If you prefer a smaller business where you can wear lots of hats, or you're in a larger company and your remit is too narrow, then this could be perfect for you. We are an instrumentation and equipment manufacturer based in Wokingham.
 
BASIC SALARY: Up to £40,000 dependant on your relevant experience

This is brand new role for you to make your own. If you have a solid electronics engineering background and you want a role that will give you exposure to a variety of areas including R&D, design, test and diagnostics, then this could be the perfect job for you.
 
We design, manufacture and support our own products as well as reselling and servicing other manufacturers equipment- so your role will be hands on and very varied.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Electronics Engineer / Instrumentation / Energy / Power / Nuclear
 
· Innovation - how can we stay ahead of our competition?
· R&D - How can we bring new products to market and deal with obsolescence
· Product Testing - ensuring safety and compliance
· Diagnostics - Fault-finding and route cause analysis
· After sales support - Supporting our customer base with service requirements
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electronics Engineer / Instrumentation / Energy / Power / Nuclear
 
· You will likely be degree educated in Electronics or similar (B.Eng or M.Eng) or you have been through an electronics apprenticeship (maybe HNC/HND).
· You will have practical work experience in a similar or suitable role (this could be a placement year or sandwich year as part of your degree).
· We also welcome interest from experienced engineers who know what they want or people who are just starting their electronic engineering career.
· We would be delighted to welcome applications from engineers with a practical background in design, test, assembly, diagnostics, R&D etc

Established for over 30 years, we are a manufacturer of instrumentation and monitoring equipment which is supplied internationally into to a variety of industry sectors including Nuclear, Homeland Security, Energy and Renewables.
 
PROSPECTS:
 
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager this role could lead to a more research and development-based position at the forefront of developing the company's new product lines in existing and new markets. Opportunities are available to become a specialist in instrumentation supplied to the nuclear sector including sales and instrument service and support.
