We have an excellent opportunity based in Farnborough working for an Aerospace company, The Ideal candidate will have worked on both soldering and Electromechanical Assemblies. If you have proven experience with working with sensors within a manufacturing Facility – we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities of the Sensor Assembler

By following Drawings, assemble, test and inspect Sensors in line with production requirements.

Duties may include:

  • assembly/manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies of production and/or development products
  • inspection and testing of products including operation of automatic test equipment
  • responsibility for self-inspection thereby requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work
  • You will be trained in some of the following operations: welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering and machine operation

Qualifications/Experience of the Assembly Operator

Must meet stringent Visual Acuity standards including colour blindness and depth perception.

Must have previous experience within a similar assembly environment and have proven mechanical or electrical skills.

Staff are responsible for self-inspection so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential.

This Assembly Operator role requires the ability to work to processes and procedures and meet the required performance targets.

Must be able to work in a team environment.
