Our Camberley-based client is a dynamic and fast-growing company looking for a talented and motivated Finance Manager to join their team and play a key role in managing financial operations. Job Overview:

  • Oversee daily financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and Forex transactions.
  • Manage cash flow, income, and expenditure to ensure financial health.
  • Work with external accountants on tax, banking, and financial matters.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes to minimise risks and maximise efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support the Responsible Person in maintaining GDP compliance and reporting discrepancies.

Person / Experience Required

  • A strong background in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager role, preferably in pharmaceuticals or import/export.
  • A solid understanding of financial regulations and data privacy standards.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in financial software and IT systems.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven mindset.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a management role showcasing the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively. This leadership experience is crucial for overseeing the Risk team.
  • Proficiency in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, Excel and Powerpoint is essential for managing financial data, analysing reports, and streamlining processes within the team.
  • Possessing strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving is important for evaluating risks, financial data, and regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory, statutory, and corporate legal requirements within the pharmaceutical industry is crucial for ensuring compliance and risk management within the organisation.
