 Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate pivot steer forklifts to move goods around the warehouse sites• Load and unload trucks, vans, and containers• Fill and maintain Pickfaces• Stack and retrieve products in 10m high-bay racking areas with precision• Manoeuvre through narrow aisles and confined spaces• Ensure products are stored correctly, preventing damage• Load racks within weight, height and load specs• Perform pre-inspection of materials being transported for damage, reporting discrepancies to a supervisor• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning of forklifts• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs of the lift truck to the supervisoro To maintain both FIFI and FEFO riles• Assist in regular stock checks and inventory audits• Maintain accurate records of all product movements within the WMS• Ensure that all relevant paperwork and inventory systems are up-to-date• Work closely with warehouse colleagues and managers to ensure efficient operations• Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including picking and packing
Essential Criteria:
  • Excellent track record of time keeping and attendance
  • An in-date forklift license 
  • Expertise manufacturing/warehouse background
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation and working towards targets
