Ā Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate pivot steer forklifts to move goods around the warehouse sitesā€¢ Load and unload trucks, vans, and containersā€¢ Fill and maintain Pickfacesā€¢ Stack and retrieve products in 10m high-bay racking areas with precisionā€¢ Manoeuvre through narrow aisles and confined spacesā€¢ Ensure products are stored correctly, preventing damageā€¢ Load racks within weight, height and load specsā€¢ Perform pre-inspection of materials being transported for damage, reporting discrepancies to a supervisorā€¢ Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning of forkliftsā€¢ Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs of the lift truck to the supervisoro To maintain both FIFI and FEFO rilesā€¢ Assist in regular stock checks and inventory auditsā€¢ Maintain accurate records of all product movements within the WMSā€¢ Ensure that all relevant paperwork and inventory systems are up-to-dateā€¢ Work closely with warehouse colleagues and managers to ensure efficient operationsā€¢ Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including picking and packing
Essential Criteria:
  • Excellent track record of time keeping and attendance
  • An in-date forklift licenseĀ 
  • Expertise manufacturing/warehouse background
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation and working towards targets
