A Level Apprentice / Trainee Accountant, Camberley, Office based, £16500-£19500 + Full AAT Study

Offering full study support and comprehensive on the job training, this will be a great opportunity for:
EITHER a recent A level student looking for an AAT Trainee role (but the client will also wait for someone taking their A level exams next year if their predicted grades are strong, to start in summer 2025).
OR a recent Graduate with an Accountancy, Maths or Sciences degree looking to undertake a formal training contract to study for their professional qualifications (the starting salary for graduates is up to £23500 + Study).
This varied role will progress to duties including:
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance.
Preparing VAT returns.
Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts.
Preparing annual Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
Preparing Client Payrolls and Personal Tax Returns.
Assisting on Audits.
Developing, documenting and updating new procedures and systems.
The client is looking for someone with drive and initiative, who’s hardworking and organised with a “can do” attitude and not afraid to take on new tasks. Accuracy, attention to detail and working to deadlines are an integral part of the role. Personality and a sense of humour are also important as Team fit in a friendly and supportive training environment like this is key.
This is a full-time office-based role and candidates will be working at the office in Camberley 5 days a week, so you must live within a realistic commuting distance and have suitable transport available.
