Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Airfreight Pricing Specialist for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Fleet, Hampshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with airlines to secure the best rates and attending airline meetings.
- Liaising with overseas agents to arrange destination charges in various countries.
- Handling import and export quotes.
- Using courier systems to find and compare the best pricing options.
- Providing multiple pricing solutions to Business Development Managers (BDMs).
- Tracking quotes and bookings using Excel.
- Data entry and ensuring all information is up to date.
- Collaborating with BDMs to find the best solutions and options to secure business.
What We're Looking For:
- Willingness to learn - no prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills - you’ll be engaging with airlines, agents, and internal teams regularly.
- Confidence in handling pricing and negotiation with key partners.
- Airfreight knowledge is preferred, but not essential.
