An exciting opportunity has arisen for a R&D Assistant to join a dynamic team, contributing to the development of an ambitious three-year innovation pipeline across multiple well-known brands. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative product concepts that align with brand values.
- Research culinary trends and analyse category and market opportunities to drive innovation across multiple brands.
- Turn creative ideas into real products, including:
- Collaborating with third-party suppliers on recipe development.
- Producing kitchen samples, testing recipes, and working with factories to conduct trials and refine products.
- Liaising with internal teams (marketing, category management, purchasing, commercial, supply chain) and external suppliers to bring concepts to market.
- Understand key business requirements, including P&L and profit management.
- Ensure compliance with the Innovation.
- Support the creation of trade materials by providing relevant information to key teams.
- Contribute to various projects as part of the innovation pipeline.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- A background in food, nutrition, or innovation is ideal.
- Passionate about food, with a keen interest in new trends and ideas, and the ability to develop an exciting innovation pipeline.
- A strong communicator who can inspire and engage both internal and external teams to bring exceptional products to market.
- Creative and analytical, with a problem-solving mindset and a drive for excellence.
