About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic school in the Farnborough. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for computer science and promoting high standards of achievement. This role offers the opportunity to start immediately or from September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in a relevant science discipline.
- Proven experience teaching science at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
