Role Overview: As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure during our migration program. You will work closely with the Network Architect and other IT professionals to ensure a smooth transition to the new network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of network solutions for the migration program.
- Configure and install network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address network requirements.
- Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff during the migration process.
- Participate in network testing and validation to ensure successful deployment.
- Stay current with the latest networking technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of network architecture, design, and implementation.
Experience with network migration projects is highly desirable.
Proficiency in networking technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus."
