I am working with a global key client within Financial Services who are looking for a seasoned IT Security Analyst to join their team for a long-term renewable contract. This position will pay £450-£494 per day inside IR35 and will start in January with the first renewal date being at the end of 2025.Based in Farnborough, Hampshire, you will need to live within 90 minutes of the office as you will be required to work in the office for two days per week for collaboration. This is high impact and very niche role as my client start an exciting period of transformation and you will require many years of experience and a wealth of security knowledge. A history of supporting changes to applications across all systems, a strong understanding of security and working closely with IT professionals internally are key to this hire. Regular Activities
- Completion of IT Security Documentation Artefacts, to include:
- Carry out Threat Assessments and analysis to confirm compliance / non-compliance with both internal BMW and external regulatory and compliance standards, e.g. knowledge of OWASP Top Ten
- Completion of Conformity Statements
- Co-ordination of Penetration Tests
- Create the IAM (roles & rights) documents
- Investigate and resolve any audit questions, both from internal and external auditors, providing evidence as required.
- Supporting delivery of projects with security risk assessment/mitigation and ensuring that they align to the appropriate technology change framework and that solutions meet relevant BMW security principles.
- Proactively monitor IT Security Dashboards and plan upcoming tasks.
- Regular updates to Management / project teams of ongoing Security topics, any issues arising and progress on IT Security targets set by Munich HQ.
Skill Set :
- A wealth of experience as an Information Security Analyst in full professional on security roles
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Analysis background - previous experience of requirements analysis
- Able to build strong working relationships across the internal and wider business and suppliers and deliver agreed priorities across multiple workstreams.
