What You’ll Be Doing:-
Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Data Centre hardware, including servers, switches, firewalls, and storage arrays.

Using internal ticketing systems to log and resolve faults while ensuring SLAs are met.

Installing and configuring Intelligent PDUs for power monitoring and load balancing.

Troubleshooting LAN connectivity issues and supporting internal teams with remote access.

Carrying out structured cabling troubleshooting, working with teams to ensure repairs and accuracy.

Ensuring 100% accuracy in DCIM software adoption for client Data Centres.

Working closely with departments to drive process improvement and operational excellence.

Generating reports on space, power, and structured cabling capacity.

Ensuring Data Centres adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and ITIL standards.

Maintaining a clean and organized Data Centre environment.

3+ years of experience in a Managed Hosting, Public, or Private Cloud Enterprise Data Centre environment.

Experience in a Hyper-Scale Cloud Data Centre (desirable but not essential).

Strong knowledge of server, storage, and network deployment.

Understanding of Data Centre M&E design, power, cooling, and redundancy.

Experience with DCIM software for accurate asset tracking (NLyte preferred).

Familiarity with structured cabling (Copper & Fibre), including deployment, design, testing, and termination (desirable).

Knowledge of RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, FC, Ethernet, iLO.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.

Full UK Driving License and access to a personal vehicle (essential).
