IT Support Engineer
- Reporting to: Head of IT
- Location: Farnborough
- Salary: £27k-£28k + Benefits
- Type: 37 hours per week
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Farnborough.
Role Purpose
- To handle customer requests promptly and maintain high service standards, while supporting and managing all college IT systems and assets.
Responsibilities
- Work flexibly with existing members of the IT Services team.
- Ensure that you communicate effectively within the team, to make your responsibilities transferable.
- Become accustomed to using a managed Helpdesk system and organise your work to meet the priority needs of the department.
- Be able to quickly understand requirements in order to develop relevant solutions.
- Be able to work with a wide range of internal and external clients to develop effective relationships quickly in order to provide the best service possible.
Requirements
- Related IT experience
- Experience supporting MS Windows and Mac OS (desirable)
- Software and Hardware troubleshooting skills
- Experience using Microsoft 365 / ITIL v4
- An effective problem solver
