Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading international Freight Forwarder with multiple sites across the country actively looking to appoint a skilled and driven Import & Customs Coordinator to expand their existing team.
The role will be based in their Farnborough site dealing with Imports and Customs from start to finish. This is an ideal role for an established freight professional to maximise their skill sets and thrive within a growing and established business.
Import Coordinator Position Overview
- Provide a day-to-day process / service in all import freight processes to internal & external client base.
- Liaise/co-ordinate with carriers, agents, warehouses and customers to arrange deliveries, manage queries and follow up discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Processing orders on the internal management/operations system.
- Customs entries: CPC Codes, Good knowledge of import customs procedures is essential.
- Freight planning and import bookings (air, road, courier and some sea freight).
Import Coordinator Position Requirements
- CDS experience in an import ops environment working for a freight forwarder
- Experience dealing with import customs and documentations from start to finish (AWB's, CI's, BL's)
- Multi-modal knowledge (Air, Ocean & Road) - Air & Road highly desirable
- Knowledge of Sequoia system - desirable
- Liaise with carriers, agents and customers arranging and managing deliveries and relationships
Import Coordinator Position Remuneration
- Salary £30K - £35k DOE
- 22 days holidays & bank holidays
- Monday - Friday (09:30 - 17:30)
