We require an additional experienced Senior Warehouse and Stores Operative to join our busy warehouse and stores operation at our Regional site in Farnborough covering the South East. You will be ensuring the stores facility provides the correct support to our service engineers and their requested parts for completion of their field based work. Reporting into the Operations Manager, working as part of a team of 2, this is a busy and hands on role using both manual handling and a counterbalance fork lift truck (refresher taining provided). The role requires someone who can take responsibility for the Stores function in terms of goods in, stock management and kitting for our on site engineers.You will be supporting our field based service engineers by managing our stock held on site ensuring the correct stock is available for the engineers on site visits to client sites across the South. The role would suit candidates with proven stores and stock experience within a busy warehouse or stores role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You should be organised, tidy and have a keen eye for detail. You will be managing deliveries coming in and parts going out with our engineers on a daily basis whilst keeping a great standard of stock control.We are an international engineering services company with sites across the UK offering our clients installation, repairs, service and maintenance services within the engineering sector. Working Mon to Fri hours, we also offer free parking and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays along with weekly pay plus bonus and additional benefits including pension scheme.You will be working closely with both mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure the right parts are ready for site. The right candidate should pride themselves on working in a clean and functional warehouse by storing goods received appropriately. You must have good PC skills to complete various stock control processes such as receipting goods, stock transfer movements. You must have an organised approach to resolving discrepancies when kitting up and communicate with the management team of any shortages and spare items in a timely manner. You should have previous counter balance fork lift experience but do not need a current licence.

Duties will include:-Manage Stock levels.Goods in/outOrdering Stores StockUpdating UI with PartsOffloading/loading DeliveriesKitting upReceipting deliveriesStock movement transfersManual handling dutiesWorking closely with the expeditor to manage delivery expectations.Working with the operations and project delivery teams.Take accountability of the workshop and be the go-to person Build relationships with the suppliers.Ensure the skips are emptied.Moving vehicles when required.Consistently checking that the stores, equipment and yet are well maintained, tidy and safe.Ensure that all logbooks (Forklifts) are completed daily.
