About the Role:As the Head of Residential Property, you will oversee a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in residential property transactions. This is a pivotal role for someone who is not only a specialist in Residential Property Law but also possesses a flair for leadership and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a busy residential conveyancing team.
  • Provide expert legal advice on the buying and selling process, including contracts, finances, and legal issues.
  • Ensure the highest standards of client care with a professional and approachable demeanour.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contacts in the local property sector.
  • Implement and integrate legal technology to enhance efficiency within the Property Department.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's culture and values.

What We're Looking For:

  • Fully qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or Licenced Conveyancer with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a residential conveyancing environment.
  • Established Fee Earner with a proven track record of managing caseloads effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business development skills and a network of contacts within the property sector.
  • A keen interest in innovative legal technology and its application in property law.
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years PQE (Post Qualification Experience) in Residential Property Law.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Property Law advice experience is required.
  • Proficiency in using case management software is highly desirable.
