We are looking for a Corporate & Commercial Legal Secretary to play an integral part of our support team in our new Farnborough office.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide general secretarial support including opening files, preparing documents and emails under the fee-earner’s direction.
  • Manage client onboarding processes.
  • Type up digital dictations.
  • Handle diary management tasks such as booking appointments and meetings.
  • Perform electronic filing and archiving.
  • Produce legal documents from mark-ups, including formatting and cross-referencing.
  • Manage invoicing and liaise with the Accounts Department over invoice and other accounting queries.
  • Deal with client enquiries both in person and over the phone.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy with good keyboard/typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience of practice management systems, CRM systems, and digital dictation is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high standard of client service.
  • Excellent organisational skills, effective prioritisation of workload, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous legal secretarial experience or an interest in law is highly desirable.
