Join an award-winning New Build team at a leading law firm known for its commitment to growth, fostering strong relationships, and providing full-service legal guidance. We are seeking a Plot Purchasing Assistant to support our Fee Earners and manage Plot Running casework in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Communicate effectively with clients via email, telephone, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with Fee Earners to progress client files smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage your own caseload from initial instructions to the exchange of contracts.
  • Conduct client onboarding processes including ID checks and compliance adherence.
  • Order searches and report to clients, lenders, and Help to Buy on all transaction aspects.
  • Liaise with lenders regarding mortgage offers and exchange contracts with Developer’s solicitors.
  • Provide updates and maintain communication with Seller’s solicitors and Developers.
  • Occasionally attend site visits to assist with business development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9 to 4, including Maths and English.
  • Full driving licence is essential.
  • Strong IT and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising service quality.
  • Excellent communication skills across various platforms including video calls, face-to-face, email, and telephone.
  • Experience in an office environment is advantageous; legal environment experience is not required but beneficial.
