Our client based in Farnborough is looking for a fantastic Office Assistant. This is the perfect role for a recent graduate who has some administration and customer facing experience looking for a diverse role where they can assist in the general running of office, meeting set ups, greeting visitors and supporting events.

You will be based in the firms stunning offices in Farnborough.? The salary for this role is?£24,648 plus an admin bonus of circa £1,000 to £2,000 and excellent benefits.

This role is working 39.5 hours per week on a rota basis with the earliest start being 7:30am and the latest shift ending at 6:00pm.

As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for:?

  • Client Service: Support the reception team by welcoming guests, hosting visitors, and offering refreshments to create a positive client experience.
  • Reception Support: Assist on the reception desk, handling incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Event Assistance: Help organise seminars and events by setting up meeting rooms, arranging refreshments, welcoming attendees, and handling post-event clean-up.
  • Stock and Supplies Management: Oversee office supply inventory.
  • General Office Organisation
  • Mail Management
  • Kitchen and Break Area Maintenance: Ensure kitchen and break areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies throughout the day.
  • Supply Ordering
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the Operations Team, such as retrieving archived files and deeds.
  • Employee Events: Help coordinate monthly drinks and office events, including ordering supplies and assisting with setup.

Skills required for then Office Assistant role:

  • Strong typing and Microsoft Office skills, with solid attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a client- or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
