The Head of UK Production & Logistics will be responsible for all current operations teams and related members of staff, including various team leaders and line leaders. As an experience Head of Production and Logistics you will be an excellent man manager and leader in the business, and whilst not expected to manage the day-to-day tasks of running production lines you will be a doer and be constantly looking for things to improve.The role:
- Person would be responsible for operations, with focus on the strategic development of the business
- Optimise the production footprint
- Drive initiatives to improve logistics/warehousing setup
- Execute on select projects, e.g. get new production lines in place for new product launches, implement efficiencies in existing processes (such as automation, various inbound/outbound flows)
The person:
- Significant production and logistics experience from with within the food or FMCG industry
- Proactive and constantly looking for things to improve in a fast-paced environment
