Our client is a successful engineering company located near Camberley, Surrey. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and is a 100% in house role so candidates need to live within a commutable distance of Camberley. Salary if from £50,000 to £70,000 plus benefits.
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Commercial office and the manufacturing engineering team. This role ensures the smooth integration between customer service, planning, design, and production processes, ensuring high standards of quality information, Communication, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operations management, with hands-on experience managing customer service, engineering manufacturing, and production processes.

Operations Manager experience and skills should include:
- Experience in production, customer service or mechanical engineering roles, with some experience in a leadership or management capacity.
- Previous experience in the aerospace / precision engineering sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CI principles and production processes.
- Experience with CAD software
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience and familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of change management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
