Your Company:The team at NET Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic manufacturing business who are seeking a Key Account Manager to join the team in the Farnborough area. This company are a leader within the rental market, and specifically target many of their products and services to rental clients, where they have become adept at providing long and short term solutions to fit their clients' needs.This role will be responsible for developing this client base further by nurturing existing key accounts with strong account management skills, as well as actively seeking opportunities with new accounts in the area. Most importantly the job holder will need to be proactive, and solution orientated and be able to seek opportunities to leverage accounts when needed.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of customer accounts with proactive sales activity, using a variety of available channels, to grow accounts in line with targets
  • Promoting account growth in-line with business objectives, ensuring to nurture accounts and form longstanding relationships
  • Acting as the point of contact for existing and new accounts, ensuring that key information is provided and that customer queries are dealt with in a timely, helpful and proactive manner
  • Consistently identifying new opportunities for business development and securing business wins within the area, working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to support customers and close deals
  • Creating sales reports on current sales and pipeline for business visibility and conducting market intelligence research
  • Researching and producing customer proposals and agreements
  • Managing contracts for hire sales to ensure these are in-line with company policies
What you will need to Apply:Applicants must have previous demonstratable experience within a sales account management role, where the individual has managed multiple new and existing accounts, leveraged sales opportunities and conducted business development. Experience within the hire market would be beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills are key to this role, alongside good stakeholder management capabilities. A strong understanding of IT and sales platforms is also needed, as well as a proactive and problem-solving mindset.What you will get in Return:The candidate who finds themselves successful within this position would be entitled to a starting salary of up to £45,000 which would be dependent on previous experience and relevant skills.
