Position: 1:1 SEN Support Worker

Location: Farnborough

Start Date: September

Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Contract Type: Long-Term Supply

Key Responsibilities:

Provide constant 1:1 support to a child in reception with severe SEN needs.

Assist the child with personal care, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the school day.

Implement tailored strategies and interventions to support the child's learning and development.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for the child.

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create and follow individualized education plans (IEPs).

Communicate effectively with the child's family and the school team to ensure consistent support.

Requirements:

Genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.

Experience working with children with ASD and non-verbal communication.

Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to enhancing the child's educational experience.

Ability to perform personal care duties.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the child's changing needs.

Relevant qualifications and/or experience in SEN support (preferred).
