About the Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a highly regarded primary school in Farnborough. This full-time, long-term position is set to begin in September and offers the chance to make a significant impact on the early education of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

-Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 1.

-Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.

-Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

-Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.

-Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.

-Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

-Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

-Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1.

-Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods for Year 1.

-Excellent classroom management skills.

-Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
