Finished Goods Inspection

Position Overview:

As a Finished Product Goods In Inspector, you will play a critical role in our supply chain and quality control processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy of incoming finished products, verifying their quality, and conducting inspections to maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming finished products to ensure their conformity to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilise visual inspections, functional tests, and measurement tools to assess product quality and identify any deviations or non-conformity's.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to accurately receive and document incoming products, ensuring proper inventory management.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations, ensuring that quantities received match the accompanying documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to address any quality concerns or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, complete documentation, and generate reports as required.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the goods-in process.
  • Has an operational quality role. Checks quality of own operations and intervenes within fixed limits. Performs primarily routine work, carried out on the basis of clear working instructions. Works in accordance with procedures and rules. Works under direct supervision
  • Carries out activities that support the execution of regulatory quality control activities

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Goods In Inspector or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify product defects and non-conformity's.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment, including measurement devices and visual inspection techniques.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and reconcile inventory accurately.
