Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester to join our team! If you have a passion for ensuring vehicle safety and meet the highest standards of quality, we want you to be part of our growing business. Help keep our community safe by testing vehicles and ensuring they are roadworthy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct MOT tests in compliance with all legal and safety standards.
  • Perform thorough inspections of vehicle components, including brakes, suspension, lights, emissions, and more.
  • Accurately record test results and notify customers of any issues or repairs needed.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and submitted on time.
  • Provide clear and honest feedback to customers about the results of their MOT tests.
  • Stay up-to-date with any changes in MOT regulations and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Valid MOT Tester qualification (class 4 & 7).
  • Previous experience in vehicle inspections or MOT testing is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of current MOT regulations and testing procedures.
  • A good understanding of vehicle mechanics and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
