Main Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager

  • Identify and pursue potential clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target markets such as construction.
  • Collaborating with pre-sales and solution architects to develop customised solutions that address client needs.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring they align with company objectives and client requirements.
  • Craft compelling proposals and tenders for enterprise clients, highlighting value propositions and differentiating factors.
  • Manage signed clients for 6-12 months after signing to seek opportunities for upselling.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to create compelling marketing campaigns to drive inbound enquiries.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Minimum of 4+ year’s experience in Business Development.
  • Experience in the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through to preparing bids or tenders.
  • Strong experience selling wireless connectivity solutions, specifically 5G.
  • A bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • A background in construction, IOT or Smart Solutions would be preferred.
  • A self motivated and driven individual.
