About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive department at in Farnborough. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop a love for physical activity, sport, and healthy lifestyles. As a key member of our PE department, you will teach across key stages 3 and 4, helping students to achieve their personal best and promoting an active and healthy school community.

The School is a mixed SEN school based in Farnborough for students aged from 4 - 18 years with around 750 students in total. The school comes with a Good reputation and has supportive team members that cares deeply for their values. The school also provides free onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons to secondary school students (ages 11-16)
  • Develop, plan, and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal development goals
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school sports teams
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A passion for Physical Education and inspiring students
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary school level (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A commitment to the school’s ethos and values
