Due to on-going growth, we are looking for a genuine leader to join the team. You’ll be responsible for driving business efficiency through adoption of best-in-class business systems, utilizing the latest enhancements to support the rapidly growing scale-up.

This role encompasses the management of the key technical systems that enable the effective day to day operation of the business. The evolution of these systems to support the next stage of growth is still in its early stages and someone coming into this role has the opportunity to shape their long-term technical direction.

This broad and wide-reaching role requires both technical expertise and honed communication skills, especially across technical best practises. The preferred candidate will be experienced, able to adapt to change and someone who enjoys working within a dynamic fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead definition and implementation of Enterprise application architecture to support fast paced growth of the business and support efficient operations functions.
• Guide projects to follow reference architectures, strategic technology stacks and standards and best practices.
• Build organizational knowledge of external and internal technical capabilities and trends, provides leadership and facilitate the evaluation of vendors and products, contribute to the provision of oversight and governance for configuration and implementation of products.
• Understand the wider technical landscape and where the enterprise applications fit into this landscape, ensure the big picture is taken into account when defining technical architecture.
• Work with Business Systems team, subject matter experts and decision makers to accurately define technical requirements.
• Lead the establishment and documentation of technology direction and standards for application platforms, involving all aspects of software, applications, integration, middleware translators, utilities, tools, and languages for use by information technology groups.
• Provide support to Business Systems leadership and engineers throughout the project cycle to ensure development of efficient architecture utilizing established standards, procedures and methodologies.
• Applies extensive knowledge of business drivers, technology strategy and software architecture goals to develop and deliver clear, comprehensive data, technical and product architectures.
• Resolve architecture issues and guide application integration / architecture implementation, testing and deployment for the Core Transformation initiative.
• Lead architecture and business process definition and design.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• An experienced Enterprise Applications Architect, supporting agile teams with the ability to guide, facilitate and drive delivery.
• Experience of working with across multiple interconnect systems. Working across Salesforce, NetSuite, ZAB and Zendesk and supporting departmental level integrations.
• Passionate with a background in enterprise applications, with a strong knowledge of development and technical principles, methodologies, and values.
• Bring strong engineering principles to business systems, such as change control, release notes, technical documentation and best practices.
• Extensive Salesforce development experience, or strong knowledge and understanding of, including Marketing Cloud, Lightning Web Components, Apex Programming, Lightning experience, Controllers, Triggers, APIs.
• Hands on and detail oriented, with a strong knowledge of enterprise application best practices, coupled with practical experience.
• Able to assess technical changes, understand them in context of the wider system and able to identify where new technological developments benefit the business.
• Experience in debugging and diagnosis root cause of issues in business systems and identifying the underlaying cause.
• Prior experience of working in a comparable high velocity technology business (SaaS, Fintech).
