 Are you interested in working with children who have special needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a pupil with autism spectrum disorder! The duration of this role lasts until July 2025, however, depending on funding at the time, a permanent position may be possible! This role requires a compassionate individual who has experience in specialist roles within SEN (Special Educational Needs), SENTA, LSD, or support worker environments.

Day-to-day of the role:

•Provide tailored one-to-one support to a special needs child, ensuring their daily educational and developmental needs are met.

• Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote the child's well-being.

 • Monitor and report on the child's progress.

• Adapt learning materials to meet the child's needs and abilities.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

 • Proven experience in a specialist role with SEN experience.

• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with special needs.

• Ability to build rapport with children and adapt to their individual needs. • Patience, resilience, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
