We are seeking a dedicated GCSE and Functional Skills English Lecturer to join our educational team, supporting students aged 16+ from Entry Level 3 to GCSE level. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about English and is ready to start as soon as possible.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students from Entry Level 3 to GCSE level.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
- A degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.
- Strong understanding of the English curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
